Paperback. Zustand: New. Print on Demand. This book proposes a citizen feedback system for improving government responsiveness and efficiency. The system, already tested in Puerto Rico and currently being implemented in Massachusetts, provides a comprehensive approach to receiving, analyzing, and addressing citizen input. The author argues that a well-designed feedback system can help identify problem areas, evaluate programs, and inform policy-making. The book covers various components of the feedback system, including a feedback division, citizen aides, a public service manual, and an outreach network. It also delves into the need for feedback analysis, agency personnel training, and the integration of involvement feedback and feedforward. Ultimately, this book emphasizes the significance of creating a two-way communication channel between government and citizens, fostering a more responsive and accountable governance system.
