A classroom teacher, math coach, and professional development leader for over 30 years, author Nancy Belkov has devoted her career to helping K-8 students develop confidence in their power as mathematicians. She is the author of the Use Your Math Power picture book series, which is set in a classroom where students explore and discuss different ways to solve math problems. When she's not teaching or writing, Belkov enjoys skiing, biking, hiking, gardening, reading, singing, and spending time with friends and family--including her granddaughters, Eleanor and Lucille, who love solving math problems.
