Inhaltsangabe

Inspired by Disney and Pixar's Elemental, this charming hardcover jacketed picture book is perfect for fans of the film!

Ember Lumen works at her family's shop in Firetown. One day, she receives a request for a special delivery that will take her deep into Element City. There's just one problem: Element City. As a Fire Element, Ember does not always fit in within the busy—and very flammable—city. But Ember is ready for the challenge and sets out on her journey. She encounters unexpected obstacles, meets friends both old and new, and discovers beautiful parts of the city.

Even though there are many ups and downs along the way, a thought sparks within Ember: perhaps there's a place for her in Element City after all.

Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Luna Chi loves to write for kids. She grew up marveling at Pixar films, and when she watched an inspiring documentary on how this animation studio came to be, she bought a one-way ticket across the country to pursue her own storytelling dreams. Luna now lives in Brooklyn, New York, in a tiny brownstone apartment across from a beautifully green park, working as a children's book author and editor.

Francesca Risoldi is an Italian illustrator and concept artist. She has worked as an artist for animation and in publishing as an illustrator for children's books and graphic novels; her recent work includes the Little Golden Book of Disney and Pixar's Luca, Sox on a Mission, Tiana's Adventure Journal, and more. She lives in Rome, Italy.
