Excerpt from A Survey of the Agencies Used and the Methods of Procedure Followed by Negro Home Demonstration Agents (1) In Carrying Out Their Extension Programs and (2) In Measuring Results of Their Work<br/><br/>The returns from this inquiry indicate that Negro home demonstration agents believe in the value of result demonstrations as object lessons in teaching many of the things emphasized in their programs, such as home improve ment, food preservation, and gardening. Of the 81 home demonstration agents, 75, or percent, reported that they use result demonstrations for this purpose. The remaining percent failed to make a reply.
