The Figure of the Crowd in Early Modern London examines the cultural phenomenon of the urban crowd in the context of early modern London's population crisis. IAN MUNRO is a specialist in early modern theater, literature and culture. He received his Ph.D. from Harvard University in 1998 and now teaches at the University of Alberta, Canada.
