She is a qualified integrative counselor, a student of yoga and has a special interest in mental health and well-being. She has written a number of qualification and training resources for some of the leading awarding and training organisations in the sector, including: CYQ, The Open University, Active IQ, Yfit, VTCT and EDI.

Debbie Lawrence is a highly regarded fitness professional and author of eleven books and is currently a technical contributor for many award bodies and training organisations. Bob Hope was a physical trainer in the Royal Navy for 23 years, before becoming a YMCA tutor and lecturer in exercise and fitness.
