Über die Autorinnen und Autoren

Humaira Rashid was born in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire. From a young age she took up writing, compiling books of short stories and poems. In 2008 she won the Muslim Writers Award for the Under-16 Short Story, and the subsequent year, won the adult Unpublished Short Story category, as well as the Muslim Writers of the Year Award for her story Crash and Burn. She is currently studying Medicine at university, and continues to write in her spare time.

Jamie Lenman has been drawing cartoons since he was three. He took a long holiday in his twenties to sing in a rock band but has since returned to his first love, providing regular illustrations for Rock Sound, Doctor Who Magazine and the Guardian.
