Biografía del autor:

Winifred Holtby (1898-1935) was born in Yorkshire. In the First World War she joined the Women's Auxiliary Army Corps and then went to Oxford where she became a great friend of Vera Brittain. "South Riding, " her most famous novel, was published posthumously.
