Take Back the Skies is a brilliant debut and Lucy Saxon is definitely an author to keep your eye on! There are so many twists and turns in the book; I was absolutely captivated from the first page until the last. She writes beautifully and entertainingly and I can't wait to read more in this series! Take Back the Skies is a fun and wild adventure into a fantasy world that becomes more vivid with every new word. It's a fast-paced story filled with tension and danger, one that kept me turning the pages as fast as I could because I wanted to see what was going to happen next. The cast of characters is great and the worldbuilding strong. I thought it was A M A Z I N G , a complete mix of love, tragedy, betrayal, excitement and beauty. From the moment I started I was hooked and I couldn't put it down. (Annabel, aged 10)
