Annie Dalton has been writing children's books for many years. She had been short-listed for the Carnegie medal and won numerous awards including the Nottingham Children's Book prize and the Portsmouth Children's Book award. Her best selling Agent Angel series has been translated into over 10 languages and the first book has been optioned for film. Annie gets inspiration from many places. The idea for Moonbeans came from an illustration on a greetings card. She lives in a cottage in Norfolk that is 400 years old, with a meadow at the bottom of her garden. She has a son and two daughters. She believes in magic especially the magic of stories.
