My name is Taswiyah Casseus and I am 20 years old I have been writing poetry since I was in the 8th grade right now I am a freshmen in College. I write poetry to express my feelings on how I feel. I love to write when I am angry, upset, and heart broken I learned not to argue or be upset with people so I just write everything down it helps me let go of the stress I am feeling. I also wrote this book to show people that they are not alone in whatever they are going through I also wanted to inspire people not to give up on their dream or in what they want to do with their life and not let anybody tell them they can't do something. Because I was there I have been told that I can't make my dreams come true I have been told that I won't make it and I also been told who I am and that I have no respect for myself never let anybody tell you who you are you just keep moving on with your life because you know who you are never let people's words hurt you I also wrote this book so people could have confidence in themselves in what they want and what they want to do.
