Cheryl Nelson O'Brien is a former member of a transnational religious cult. After being hooked by the lure of idealism for over 12 years she woke up in the middle of a counterfeit spiritual renaissance to find herself threatened with the loss of family and friends if she dared dissent. One day a precipitating event occurred that shattered the gridlock of fear. She walked away and never looked back.
