Pro Apache Geronimo addresses the first open source lightweight J2EE or Java EE 5 compatible Web application server/container for deployment and some advanced development. Apache Geronimo now has the plumbing to be Spring compliant as well so that Spring developers can deploy their Web applications using Geronimo.

Kishore Kumar is a J2EE Solutions Architect and a senior technology evangelist at US Technology (www.ustri.com). Apart from my project roles, he leads a 400 strong Java Center of Excellence (JCOE) which is the primary community for competency development and efficiency improvement in our company. US Technology is a technology services company where he works with many different and latest technologies in Java and J2EE. Also, as part of JCOE, Kishore many projects like framework developments, eclipse plug-in development and proof of concepts in latest technologies.
