Each day is an adventure. This is simply stated for the characters of Set Me Free. Yeve G. Montgomery uses different genres to paint images of everyday life with a slant. Whether through narration or imagery, these tales and real life event look at circumstances through a kaleidoscopic lens that shows the irony of life. The reoccurring theme of freedom is echoed as each page is turned. Like the characters, the stories are diverse and unique. Yeve G. She is a 1999 and 2000 fellow of the Hurston Wright Writer's Week. An excerpt of her screenplay, Crossroads, appears in their anthology, The Hoot and the Holler of the Owl.
