Críticas:
"The extraordinary breadth of the chapters in this book is testament to the richness and diversity of the field of intergroup communication, studied here with theoretical eclecticism and methodological pluralism. The editors more than fulfil their goal of showcasing the dynamics of these phenomena, and moreover doing so for a range of significant group memberships across an array of contexts." (Miles Hewstone, University of Oxford, England) "`The Dynamics of Intergroup Communication' features a variety of well-written and cutting-edge chapters examining how intergroup relations get constructed, perpetuated and changed through communication. The edited collection should generate interest and excitement about the connections between social psychology and communication in this growing area, and the book deserves wide readership among researchers and students in both areas." (John Turner, Australian National University, Canberra) "This volume is an excellent sampler for all scholars interested in the connections between social identity and communication. In this easy-to-read book, the editors bring together a wide and diverse group of authors to cover the theoretical and empirical ground in this key domain comprehensively. There are fresh looks at well-researched contexts as well as examination of new areas that deserve more attention. The wide and diverse reference list will get scholars started in these areas and more, and points the way to new research in this important area." (Cynthia Gallois, University of Queensland, Brisbane) "A veritable Who's Who of communication scholars and social psychologists who study intergroup communication. This tour de force focuses not only on communication between groups - a key issues of our time - but, more broadly, on how relations between groups and one's position in an intergroup context affect all aspects of communication. This book showcases contemporary theory and research; building on classic contributions, it sets an exhilarating new agenda for intergroup research that will inspire communication scholars and social psychologists alike." Hogg, Claremont Graduate School, California) "The extraordinary breadth of the chapters in this book is testament to the richness and diversity of the field of intergroup communication, studied here with theoretical eclecticism and methodological pluralism.
