Ron Spillers is a native of Minneapolis and grew up in Des Moines. He studied economics and philosophy at Iowa State University and Drake University, did graduate work in economics at San Diego State University, and received his law degree from NYU. Ron's professional experience includes corporate law practice, business ownership, management consulting, international business development, and university teaching. He resides in the mountains of southern Utah with his high school sweetheart Marilee Payne Murray, their tenacious terrier Katie, and golden retriever Belle. Ron currently is writing an espionage parody entitled-Diary of a Vespertine Elixir Merchant. "Joe Kohl's humorous illustrations and cartoons have been delighting the public for over 35 years. His creations have appeared worldwide in publications such as Reader's Digest, Forbes, Good Housekeeping, Writer's Digest, Woman's World, The Artist's Magazine, Penthouse, Punch, and the "Chicken Soup for the Soul" book series. Joe's written concepts have been been featured on Hallmark and Current, and his illustrations in American Greetings, Comstock, Oz, Gallant Greetings, and Novo Cards, among others. Joe and his wife Phyllis have a daughter, Stephanie, and live in Toms River, New Jersey with their cat, who prefers to remain anonymous."
