Inhaltsangabe

Many people who are not students of philosophy know Nietzsche for three little words. God is dead. His influence has had a lasting effect in many areas of study. Friedrich Nietzsche (1844-1900) was a German philosopher and philologist. His writings covered a wide scope of topics including religion, philosophy, morality, culture, and science. On the Future of our Educational Institutions is vol. 3 of The Complete Works of Friedrich Wilhelm Nietzsche. Nietzche gave this series of lectures in Bale. He spoke about the future of education especially as it related to Germany.

Über diesen Titel

Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

The philosopher's philosopher, Nietzsche is almost invariably misquoted, taken out-of-context, or otherwise misused - and especially so in the Anglophone world, where the long shadow of mischief using his name and writings - both in translation and in his native German - still sees him invariably cast as a sort of bogeyman, or "moral-monster". This is despite, or perhaps because of the beauty of his writing, and the originality - and many profound implications - of his philosophy.
