She is a novelist who has a special place in her heart for all things fantasy and horror. She is based in Texas, and her stories take place within the gentle rolling hills of the South and Southwest. She is a travel addict who enjoy incorporating the worlds that she visits and their many wonders into her writing. She has always wanted to see more African American presence in fantasy, and decided to be the change she wanted to see. Her debut novel Fairy Dust and Stripper Heels combines two things that she adores fairies and urban fantasy. She loves weaving the fantastical into the mundane and finding magic in the everyday.
