David Cady grew up and presently lives in North Georgia not far from Chattanooga and the Tennessee River where this story takes place. For THE HANDLER Mr. Cady was nominated for Georgia Author of the Year in the" first novel" category by The Georgia Writers Association. He has just finished the sequel to THE HANDLER, called FATAL OPTION, and is working on the third book in the trilogy. David Cady has a BS degree from Middle Tennessee and a Master's degree from The University of Georgia. He was reared in an evangelistic family and spent his childhood years traveling throughout the South listening to his father and uncle conduct religious revivals. For this story, Mr. Cady spent many hours working with a private detective while learning how the lost is found.
