Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Florence Bernard was born and raised in France and started to live abroad when she was 21 years old. She started in England, in beautiful Devonshire where she taught for three years. She also spent one year as a teaching assistant at Willamette University, Oregon. Her teaching career went on internationally from then. She taught all ages from first graders to adults in her various positions in Nairobi, Kenya, in France, in Scotland at the Gordonstoun International Summer School, in the Cayman Islands and the United States. She was in charge of boarding houses, taught languages, sports, IT, took part in drama productions and a number of school trips. Developing close relationships with students and their parents, she started to see ways to lead children to success beyond the traditional school model. She helped a number of families enjoy the positive experience that school should be. Working together with parents and children, going back to the basics with them and exploring the sources of problems while focusing on the solutions, she manages to help bring back peace and harmony at home and at school for many. Parents and children alike grow through the process and see lasting changes. It is time to spread the word more widely with this book and numerous other resources available on her website: www.betteratschool.com
