In 2005, Richard was financially destroyed by attorneys, economics and personal circumstances. He went from a blue chip IT marketing consultant to a homeless man at the Bridgeport Gospel Rescue Mission. From there, he was flown to Zambia and Kenya Africa and Brooklyn, NY, where his calling to be a bridge between the wealthy and the poor continues. In this third book of Richard s he goes back into the mission that saved his life and tells the story of the desperation and the unknown Christians who lift the poor out of troubled waters. In his photography and poetry, we weep, rejoice and intimately discover our Father God s transformational power. I offer you this book s testimony as a rare book that will take you deep inside the plight of America s poor, the breathtaking transformation and hard work that takes place inside America s Gospel Rescue Missions. In these images and writings of mission life, you will enter into a world of miracles, mercy and faith. - Richard Close
