Inhaltsangabe

The experience of practising yoga is an internal one. This is true for all styles of yoga and for beginners right through to advanced students and teachers. Scaravelli inspired, this book was developed as a practical guide. The aim is to give practical help with useful visualisations that can actually support you in the postures. The book is not meant for complete beginners, but once you begin to know the postures it can be used alongside other books and classes to help deepen understanding and enrich your practice. Yoga teachers will find a wealth of ideas which can be used to build lesson plans around. There's a slightly different version of "See how yoga feels" available as an e-book. Available for Kindle and iPad: £3.50 Yoga should be an enjoyable experience. Using this book should be enjoyable too.

Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Su has been practising yoga for 30 years and teaching for 20. She is also a regular columnist in Yoga & Heath magazine. While her own style of yoga keeps developing, some themes remain constant, like listening to and working with the body, paying total attention to what is actually happening while using the breath and gravity. Key teachers have been Vanda Scaravelli and John Stirk. As an advertising Art Director, Su was trained to sum up and present often complicated and low interest information in as attractive, memorable and inviting a way as possible... In many ways this book is the outcome of this unusual combination of visual professional communication experience, and 30 years of yoga practice.
