Lydia, Preta, and Loukas tell the stories of their loves, their confl icts and their hopes as the Way grows in Philippi. When Paulus calls Loukas to come to Ephesus in 53 CE, Lydia hopes that their trip will quell Loukas s fears and resolve her own conflicts.
