Mary Anne Hearn who was known by the pen name Marianne Farningham, was a British religious writer, poet, and biographer. Born in 1834 in Farningham, England, she is best remembered for her works that were deeply rooted in faith and spiritual themes. Writing under several pseudonyms, including Eva Hope and Marianne Hearn, she contributed to various periodicals, including The Christian World, and authored A Working Woman's Life, which reflected her interest in the lives of working-class women.
