Inhaltsangabe

Originally published in 1819, this book contains the classic poem 'The Story of Rimini' by Leigh Hunt.He based the poem on Dante's story of Paolo and Francesca, giving a sympathetic portrayal of how the two lovers came together after Francesco was married off to Paolo's brother. It describes how two people can still love each other in hell, promoting compassion for all humanity. This book would be an invaluable addition to the bookshelf of anyone with a passion for poetry. Many of these earliest books, particularly those dating back to the 1900s and before, are now extremely scarce and increasingly expensive. We are republishing these classic works in affordable, high quality, modern editions, using the original text and artwork.
