Ruth Thomson is an award-winning writer of non-fiction books for both children and young people. She writes on an eclectic range of topics, including history, writing skills and art and design, as well as on the human body and health, such as Have You Started Yet? She also travels widely, collecting recycled artefacts and stories about their makers to exhibit in museums and galleries.

Chloë Thomson is a Psychology graduate with a particular interest in eating disorders, teenagers and health. She has worked on the development of leaflets and posters for several health campaigns for a major cancer charity.

Jane Eccles loves drawing and works in a tiny room in her house in Hampshire, where she lives with her husband and son and small grey cat. She has illustrated some very funny books including The Bumper Book of Very Silly Jokes and Football Jokes, and the poetry collection I Love My Mum.
