Biografía del autor:
I'm married to Kirsty, who is also a writer. We live in Brighton, where much of the action in Deadly Medicine takes place. It's a great city, and we wouldn't live anywhere else in the UK. I've spent many years working in HIV, which is one of the reasons why I chose this therapy area to set my novel in. I have never encountered such a highly motivated group of patients and doctors, and it has been a real privilege to work with this community. I've also worked in the lab designing HIV drugs as part of my Ph.D. in organic chemistry. It was during this time that I started to really think about the origins of life. I worked every day for three years with the key chemicals that determine the code for life (Nucleic acids in DNA) and the molecules that DNA codes for (amino acids in proteins). Other than writing I have several passions in my life, including windsurfing, photography and traveling, but probably my greatest passion is for the truth.
