Puerto Rican, actress, announcer and author Gilda Mirós presents her memoir; MESSAGES FROM THE SPIRITS TO MY MOTHER. Gilda Mirós has appeared in leading roles in Spanish/English films, theater and television in Mexico, Puerto Rico and North America. She has transmitted her radio programs live from Latin America and Spain, also producing, directing and narrating a variety of documentaries; including one during the Vietnam. War. Ms. Mirós was the first Latin radio personality to conduct a four hour daily live, show, transmitted via satellite between Miami, Los Angeles and New York. Ms. Miros has narrated multiple English/Spanish parades; is a magazine writer and a concert producer. Ms. Mirós was granted The Medal of the Virgin of the Providence by the Archdiocese of New York City and has received many awards in the USA, as well as international recognition. Gilda has been national Latin spokesperson for the March of Dimes and the Eye Bank of NYC. She has dubbed the voice in Spanish for "Mother Angelica Live". For the NY Metropolitan Museum of Art, Gilda narrated the audio guides for the "Tutankhamen" and "Jose Campeche" exhibitions. Miros launched her first book "Celia Cruz, The Sonora Matancera". in July of 2003, "Portrait of Puerto Rico" in August of 2005. "Hortense and her Happy Duckling", a wash your hands bilingual children's book, in July of 2006. "Memorias de los Espíritus y Mi Madre" was released in October, 2008.
