Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

The author of a dozen books, conservative writer and award-winning poet, Gretchen Slinker Jones, was raised and educated in the farm country of Southwest Idaho and continues to pursue writing and nature photography. She moved to the Inland Northwest in the late 1990s, settling on the Southern fringe of the beautiful Selkirk mountain range, after spending 17 years in rural southcentral Alaska. The author of the currently three-volume Selkirk Mountain Inspiration series, Your Resume : A Crash Course (and accompanying Teacher's Edition), and Your Resume : A Crash Course 2, Jones is always working on a writing project, the most recent being the RSVP Building Spelling and Vocabulary teaching series. Jones' poems, currently available as Song of the Heart: The Complete Collection, have appeared in numerous anthologies, newspapers and magazines and have won multiple awards. She wrote Breastfeeding: A Mother's Guide in 1984 and re-released it as Breastfeeding Your Baby: The Right Choice in recent years.
