Mary E. Martin is a lawyer who retired after 30 years of practice. She has published The Osgoode Trilogy (Conduct in Question, Final Paradox and A Trial of One), three novels of legal suspense inspired by her law practice. She won the Readers View Literary Fiction Award for A Trial of One in 2008 and was a finalist in the ForeWord literary contest that year. Her most recent work is The Drawing Lesson, the first novel in The Trilogy of Remembrance.
