It is July 18, 1861 near Winchester, Virginia. The Civil War has begun, and Confederate Lieutenant John Pelham, formerly of the West Point Class of 1861, is about to confront his former classmates in the First Battle of Bull Run.

Biografía del autor:

Richard Adams is a West Point graduate and adjunct professor, Vietnam veteran, Army aviator, consulting engineer, and ski instructor. In recent years, he has been ensconced in the Special Collections Archives Division of the West Point Library. He and his wife divide their time between Denver, Colorado, and Destin, Florida.
