Dr. Marilyn Carroll, Ph.D. lives in Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. Carroll's research interest focuses on positive psychology, leadership, organizational behavior and management. Her writings use poetry and knowledge briefings to educate and engage her audience. In addition she inspires change by providing relevant knowledge that is research based and practiced through actual experience examples. She is originally from Birmingham, Alabama. She has two children. She is an active member of the community contributing and participating in a number of non-profits. Dr. Carroll is giving part of the profits generated from this poem to help non-profit organizations that focus on self-esteem, self-awareness, self-management and self -empowerment initiatives.
