The heroes of twentieth-century America were the men and women who weathered the Great Depression and won World War II. Learn from the Greatest Generation how to lead by example, take responsibility, demonstrate integrity, be a self-starter, put your people first, choose to be courageous, and other key elements of effective leadership. This volume offers ten critical lessons, each of which is illustrated by the example of a heroic American. From the bloody sands of Omaha Beach and the deadly jungles of the Pacific theater to the selflessness and strength of those on the home front, the leaders of World War II were forged in adversity.
Every aspiring leader should know these practices and follow them daily. Based on our country's core values, the lessons revealed here are rooted in the principles that led to victory in World War II and rescued millions from bondage and oppression.
