Praveen is a Director of Center for Innovation Science and Applications at IIT School of Applied Technology. He has also taught Innovations for Engineers course at University of Illinois, Chicago. His innovation curriculum is taught at multiple institutions in the U.S. and Mexico. Praveen is President of Accelper Consulting for providing assistance in sustaining profitable growth to corporations. Praveen has authored many books including Business Innovation in the 21st Century, The Innovation Solution, Six Sigma Business Scorecard, Service Scorecard, Stat Free Six Sigma, and the Six Sigma Performance Handbook. He is the founding Editor of the International Journal of Innovation Science, Chair of Business Innovation Conference, and lead developer of the Business Innovation certification program offered in collaboration with Illinois Institute of Technology. Praveen recently launched his Learning Breakthrough Innovation iPad App. Praveen received the BSEE degree from IIT Roorkee, India in 1978. He has been included in Global 101, a list of 101 IITians recognized for their contribution and impact in the world. Praveen received his MSEE degree from Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago in 1989. He was recipient of Professional Achievement Award 2008 at IIT Chicago. Praveen pioneered deployment of the Six Sigma methodology in 1986 and received three CEO Awards for Six Sigma at Motorola. Praveen was appointed a Fellow of ASQ in 1996. Praveen frequently speaks at events and conferences.
