A decorated combat pilot returns from Vietnam to begin duties in Research & Development, involving top secret projects in ICBM guidance and spy satellites. His clearances and expertise lead to recruitment by the CIA to gather information at an international symposium in Bonn, to be attended by Western and Soviet scientists and engineers. He gets mixed up with double agents (one a deadly female), moles, and murder, and is even kidnapped, his abductor planning to transport him somehwere in the Eastern Bloc. And he really didn't want to do this in the first place.

Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Denis De Luchi is a 20 year Air Force veteran. He was a B-52 Aircraft Commander and sprayed Agent Orange in Vietnam, flying over 200 combat missions, for which he received the Distinguished Flying Cross and eight Air Medals. After attending a graduate program in Geophysics at the Air Force Institue of Technology, he became a project officer in satellite technology. Upon retirement from the Air Force he took up the teaching of Physics at various colleges and universities in Nortern California. He has enjoyed writing all his life, and has let it become his third occupation.
