Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

David Spencer has a MA in international relations from BYU and a PhD in comparative politics from George Washington University. He is an assistant professor of National Security Affairs at the Center for Hemispheric Studies and is responsible for organizing and teaching courses and seminars related to terrorism, organized crime, and gangs in the western hemisphere. He is also currently the Country Director for Colombia and Venezuela at the Office of the Secretary of Defense. He has published dozens of books and articles on politics in South America and military strategy.
