Reseña del editor:
A medical thriller about a fertility counselor who goes on a killing spree of barren women in the warped belief that this "act of mercy" will save them - her "sisters" - from a life of suffering. The serial killer, who hides her crimes by making them appear to be accidents or suicides, is uncovered by a suspicious and persistent clinic RN and her reluctant-but-efficient deputy sheriff roommate. In the process, the female nurse/deputy team also exposes unethical practices by the fertility clinic's MD founder-operator.
Biografía del autor:
Bette Golden Lamb, an ex-Bronxite, writes crime novels and plays with clay in her home studio. Her artistic creations appear in juried exhibitions, galleries, art associations, and retail stores, including Kris & Joe Neri's Well Red Coyote Bookstore in Sedona, AZ. She also hangs out with her 50+ rose bushes, and sneaks out to the movies when she should be writing or sculpting. J. J. Lamb switched from engineering to journalism, then on to an Associated Press career. Army intervention provided a Top Secret clearance, a locked room with table-chair-typewriter, and time to write short stories. This led to a PI series featuring Zachariah Tobias Rolfe III before collaborating with Bette. The Lambs make their home in Northern California, where they are busy at work - individually and together - on more medical thrillers, another Zach, and who knows what else.
