In this accessible textbook, award-winning teacher Eric Corty speaks to students in their language, with an approachable voice that conveys the basics of collecting and understanding statistical data step by step. Examples come from the behavioural and social sciences, as well as from recognizable aspects of everyday life to help students see the relevance of what they are studying.
With plenty of opportunities for practice and an emphasis on interpretation, Eric Corty’s engaging textbook is exceptionally well suited for behavioural science students studying statistical practice in their field for the first time.

Corty has more than three dozen peer-reviewed publications. His research on ejaculatory latencies received worldwide attention, including being made fun of on the David Letterman show. His statistics textbook was recognized as a Book of the Year by the American Journal of Nursing in 1997. Corty serves as a member of the editorial board for The Journal of Sex & Marital Therapy and previously was on the editorial board for The Journal of Consulting and Clinical Psychology.
Corty was born in Wilmington, Delaware, and still celebrates Delaware Day every December 7th. He now lives in Beachwood, Ohio, with his wife, two sons, and two cats. He likes to eat and to cook, loves to ride his bicycles, and is working on improving his pool game.

Zustand: Acceptable. LIGHTNING FAST SHIPPING! A heavily used, but still working copy. Coffee stain and wrinkling to the edge of the pages when a tired undergrad fell asleep and knocked their cup over on their books. The binding and pages of the book have been reinforced with tape, has tape and stickers on the cover, as well as lots of notes (some of the answers in the learning activities may be filled in) on the pages. Definitely not pretty, but it's a working copy at a great price that ships fast. ~ Book does NOT contain an access code or CD/DVD. Bestandsnummer des Verkäufers #149E-0109
