Biografía del autor:
Diego's Bio My name is Diego Vazquez. As a young and extremely sensitive, yet leather-tough worm, I survived all predators, real and imaginary, in the Big Apple during the Rock&Rolling Decade (circa'55--'65). I escaped Gotham City and a life of alluring decadence by enlisting in the Army during the Vietnam War. I was sent to an electronics school, given a top-secret clearance, and summarily dispatched to defend our country from a Nike-Herc Battery high on the diabolically cold mountains of Alaska, where I endured the longest, frigid year in my life before being transferred to Texas to thaw, and to teach basic electronics to our NATO allies. Grateful, but extremely dissatisfied, I said "Adios" to soldiering, and joined Bendix Field Engineering working at Goddard Space Flight Center in Maryland. I remained there for most of the "Right Stuff" era, right up to the advent of the Shuttle. I graduated from CIT with a degree in Electronics Engineering, and to jolt awake the dormant Dali in me, I took a course at the Famous Artists School with mixed results. Needing to support a wife and three children, I dropped my fine arts painting ambition, and for the next twenty some odd years, I supervised electronic technicians and computer operators for METRO, in our nation's capital. I had my first book "Bed For Four," published in 2006. "Bed For Four," is a witty account of my early years growing up in Ponce, P.R. and concluding in New York until I fled the city. My latest book, "The Stud," is a humorous, fictional story of one Cheo and his friends as they romp through the DelMarVa peninsula in the summer of 2059, partying and having fun, and end up chasing and killing terrorists in the continent
