Inhaltsangabe

There is a time and place for everything and for everything a time and place. And in most places, five o’clock Friday is the end of the work week. Such is true for the folks at Ott-Redd Systems Services. For Darrius Scott and some of his friends, it’s time to cut loose the caboose and get to happy hour at a nearby watering-hole. Ten minutes before five o’clock a task arises that requires his immediate attention. In his judgment, the task would be as useful as warm beer or wet toilet paper. With that in mind, he makes a decision that is beyond his pay-grade. Immediate attention was going to have to wait until Monday. It was time for the week end to begin at Button’s Urban Bistro, a local restaurant and night spot. This is where events surrounding the schemes and dreams of friends, co-workers, and acquaintances begin to unfold. There are actions that are devious while others are mischievous. Some are serious, others are just curious; some collide while others coincide. In one form or another, they have an influence on what cohorts and consorts do and say. There’s romance and happenstance, fondness and passion, resentment and contentment, and compartments and commitments.
