Bella Bear, “I am a Big Sister” Children's non-fiction picture book introducing the letters of the alphabet. The story is about a little bear who is learning that she is going to have a little sister. Bella Bear is encouraged by her mother to participate in picking a name for her new sister. Bella Bear enjoys singing the alphabet song along with her mama. The story is fictional, however, the incentive is based on concrete knowledge and learning processes for children ages three to six. The story is interesting, educational and witty. Children will learn from the Bella Bear’s story and her increasing knowledge of the alphabets and the sounds of the letters. The book is illustrated and combined with photos that are taken of concrete objects that which children are familiar with.
Osanna M. Kazezian -Rosa Osanna has been working with young children ages three to six in different settings. “Bella Bear; I am a Big Sister” was inspired by the arrival of the new babies in the author’s family. Other works of the author is an instructional base unit for age group three to six; “The Art of Hand-Built Pottery; One Child’s Creativity” and “Bella Bear Picking Berries”. The author is currently working on her third book of the Bella Bear series. Osanna has a BA in History and Minor in Philosophy from UCLA. MA in Education/Curriculum Teaching & Learning from Sonoma State University. The author lives in Sonoma County California with her husband.
