Nicole Small (a.k.a. Shayna Small) is an actress/singer born and raised in Chicago. In the middle of her freshman year of high school she relocated to Baltimore to attend a performing arts school. She holds a BFA in drama at the Juilliard School. Her theater credits include Hurt Village and The Threepenny Opera.
Cary Hite has performed in several theaters across the country as a cast member in the longest-running African American play in history, The Diary of Black Men. He also appeared in Edward II, Fences, Macbeth, Good Boys, Side Effects May Vary, and the indie feature The City Is Mine. He has voiced several projects for AudibleKids, including Souls Look Back in Wonder, From Slave Ship to Freedom Road, and Papa, Do You Love Me?
Erica B. Peeples graduated from the Juilliard School and has had roles in Joe Turner's Come and Gone at Berkeley Rep and in A Raisin in the Sun at the Weston Playhouse Theatre Company in Vermont. Her television credits include Law & Order, and her film credits include Today's Special and Fighter. She is also CEO and cofounder of "the Qrew," a group of artists that performs throughout New York City.
