WINNER OF THE PREMIO REAL ACADEMIA ESPAÑOLA

November 1989. El Salvador is immersed in the horrors of a bloody civil war.

Early one fateful morning a group of armed men enter a seminary and murder six Jesuit priests and two women in cold blood. In the days that follow, the new rector, Father Tojeira is forced to confront the society in which he lives and discover who these assassins are. The only witness, however, has been silenced by the authorities.

Inspired by the tragic events that shook Latin America, November is a courageous and devastating account of how fear, hate and impunity can disfigure a country.
