Inhaltsangabe

This vintage book contains a short treatise on handling a pack of hounds written by Lord Henry Bentinck. It takes the form of a letter written by the author in his hunting lodge as a means to occupy himself during a fierce blizzard, and contains a wealth of useful and timeless information on the management of hunting hounds. This volume is highly recommended for those with an interest in the history of English fox hunting, and would make for a worthy addition to collections of allied literature. Many vintage books such as this are increasingly scarce and expensive. We are republishing this volume now in an affordable, high-quality edition complete with a specially commissioned new introduction on the foxhound.
