J.D. Kinman served in the U.S. Air Force, and then later in federal law enforcement. After graduate school at Texas Tech University, he entered the world of advertising. Now semi-retired, he lives in the Dallas, Texas area with his wife and dogs. He enjoys flying, shooting, reloading, boating and meeting new gun-owners and pilots.
