Biografía del autor
Jessica Gunderson grew up in the small town of Washburn, North Dakota. She has a bachelor's degree from the University of North Dakota and an MFA in Creative Writing from Minnesota State University, Mankato. As a child, she was a Civil War buff and knew the dates, places, and victor of nearly every battle. Her love of history expanded as she grew older, and she now enjoys writing about all aspects of U.S. history. She has written more than thirty books on historical subjects for young readers. Her book Ropes of Revolution, set during the Revolutionary War, won the 2008 Moonbeam Award for best graphic novel. She currently lives in Madison, Wisconsin, with her husband and cat.
