Inhaltsangabe

Wonder Woman Legacy, The Rise of Golden Angel was purpose written to raise funds to fight breast cancer and give fans a continuation of the Legacy story. Elissa, the daughter of Wonder Woman, begins to come into her own, but still faces all the trials and obstacles of a fledgling heroine as well as the problems of just being a teenager. Elissa, the daughter of Diana, Princess of the Amazons, is now seventeen, and now has her own identity: Golden Angel. This fresh young heroine is eager to prove herself, and while her compassionate heart reaches out to those in need, she still loves to kick bad guy butt! Plagued by inexperience and an overanxious drive, Golden Angel discovers she still has a lot to learn, especially about working with others. Desperate to prove she is as worthy as any in the Justice League, which she longs to join, Elissa jumps in head-long, only to discover how unprepared she really is. She is met by defeat after defeat and her confidence is quickly drained away as she is plagued by fears and nightmares about an enemy she could not truly defeat. But there is another side to her, an unexplored side that is destined to prove itself her greatest obstacle to her quest to be a heroine, and she struggles to bring peace between her identity of Golden Angel and the teenage girl she truly is. Truly, she needs answers, and as she discovers her strengths as a heroine, her vulnerabilities as a girl, discovers friendships and boys, she finds many of her answers lie with the father she has only begun to know.
