Inhaltsangabe

This feel-good story of mysterious fortunes and unexpected romance is now a Netflix feature film.

Ten seemingly random people in Los Angeles just found $100,000 sitting on their porches. No one knows where the money came from or why. When seasoned TV news reporter Kate Bradley starts asking questions, this feel-good story becomes a mystery. How far will Kate go to identify the generous soul known as “Good Sam,” who doesn’t seem to want to be found?

With all the imposters, red herrings, and even an attraction to one of her “suspects,” Kate finds herself questioning everyone’s motives―those of strangers, her family, and even her own. The most dangerous thing Kate can do is lower her guard and let herself believe. But “Good Sam” has started something in the world: change. And Kate won’t just find the story of a lifetime, she might live it, too.

Revised edition: This edition of Good Sam includes editorial revisions.

Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Like her heroine Kate Bradley, award-winning author Dete Meserve keeps looking for people who are doing extraordinary good for others, sometimes at great personal sacrifice. Instead of tracking a killer or kidnapper, Dete’s mysteries seek to uncover the helpers, the rescuers, and the people who inspire us with selfless acts of kindness. Good Sam is the first in her Kate Bradley Mysteries series, followed by A Perfectly Good Crime.

When she’s not writing, Dete is a film and television producer and a partner in Wind Dancer Films. She lives in Los Angeles with her husband and three children―and a very good cat that rules them all.
