Inhaltsangabe

When life is at its worst, God is at His best. What's it like telling a loving family their two daughters were just killed in a car crash on their way to band practice. Or comforting a child who comes home to find his mother hanging from the basement rafters. It's Christmas Eve; a police officer is shot and killed on a motor vehicle stop. It's your job to tell his wife and children that daddy won't be home for Christmas. It's September 11, 2001, and you're standing on a pile of rubble called Ground Zero in lower Manhattan, New York City. For nine months, you serve there as remains are recovered, and it's your job to find words for the grieving. Then there's the excitement of the last 25 years when you stand before over 100,000 race fans as you give the invocation for the NASCAR race at Dover, Delaware. A life filled with triumph and tragedy. This is the story of Daniel R. Schafer, a redneck from the hills of western Pennsylvania with a call from God to take His Word to the most unique and unusual places.
