Cheri Britton, M.Ed., has built a career kicking "buts" out of the workplace and out of people's lives. She is an Agent of Change for Change Agents. Through her work as a speaker, author, coach and trainer, she has helped thousands of people change their mindset, take "but" out of their vocabulary and achieve their goals. Cheri began her career in public health and soon realized that what kept many people from success was a negative mindset. After accepting a position in training, Cheri incorporated into her sessions strategies to help professionals kick that negativity-kick the "buts"-and find success. In 2000, she founded Whetstone Consultations, catering specifically to the health-care industry. Then, under the banner of BOOM Thinking(TM) (Break Out of Old Mindsets), she designed programming for private business and nonprofits, added speaker and coach to her services, and published BOOM Thinking(TM) The Gutsy Guide to Breaking Out of Old Mindsets.
